SWIC Firefighter II Academy Pics

The academy was an interesting experience. I was the only career firefighter in the class, and it was a pretty young class, with the average age (not counting me) being nineteen years old. There were volunteers from Signal Hill, Hollywood Heights, St. Jacobs, Freeburg, Marissa, East Side, and Hawthorne. It was relatively fast-paced, though it was not nearly as bad as the academy I went through when I became a firefighter in the U.S. Air Force in 1992. See the pics here.
